Fair

4H Horse events and fair: A copy of current coggins will be required with horse registration info on May 1, 2026. Original coggins must be showed at check-in at any of our 4H Horse and Fair events.

The date on the current coggins must be good through the end of fair, which is July 25, 2026. Please remember it is required by law for you to have a current coggins with you any time you transport your horse.

Horse Check-In Information
Horses may be checked in between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on Sunday before Fair. Horses must be unloaded in the parking lot off the pavement, lead across the horse crossing crosswalk and stop for inspection at the red barn. ORIGINAL negative Coggins and helmets must be presented at this time. Horses must be checked out Sunday after fair starting at 6:00am and no later than 11:00am. Exceptions will be made only in an extreme emergency. Anyone leaving early without written permission from Fair Board and Horse superintendent may not be eligible for stalls the following year, and may be subject to any further discipline as Fair Board deems appropriate.

Horse Project Information
- Set up Friday 6pm (portable stall etc.) & Saturday 10am (barn decoration etc.)
- No vehicles behind barns after 9am or before 11pm *NO EXCEPTIONS*
- Tear down – clubs may start to take down barn decorations Saturday after 10PM.
- Vehicles permitted behind the barns until after 11:00PM.
- Horse(s) not to check out before 6am on Sunday 
- You must check out with barn manager
- Teardown Sunday - Clubs/individuals will tear down the same areas they setup.
- Don't forget your HELMETS: they are mandatory in the practice rings at all times.
